Hannah Copeland, MD, FACS, FACC, is a 2006-graduate of the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine in Kansas City, MO. Her postgraduate training includes her general surgery residency (2006-2009) and research fellowship (2009-2010) served at the University of Arizona, her general surgery residency at the University of California at San Diego School of Medicine in San Diego, California (2010-2012), her cardiothoracic surgery fellowship conducted at Loma Linda University (2012-2015), as well as her cardiothoracic surgery transplant fellowship performed at Indiana University (2015-2016). Dr. Copeland attained board certification in cardiothoracic surgery with the American Board of Thoracic Surgery (ABTS). Furthermore, she has been honored with the Patients’ Choice Award (2018, 2020), the On-Time Doctor Award (2020), and the Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2020). Dr. Copeland is also a member of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, the American Society of Transplantation, and the Association of Academic Surgery.
